I am proud of him to speak his truth… it was unprofessional for 2 of my favorite vocalists to laugh… even if the “laughter wasn’t towards him” the optics depicted otherwise… Dennis you ARE SOMEBODY… not you are “gonna” be somebody… nobody deserves that kind of behavior… especially on a “Christian” based talent showcase show. We are all human, and this display definitely proved just that… this type of “judging” was the reason I didn’t feel comfortable watching the show… I’m grateful Kierra and Yolanda held down a professional loving presence… Donnie if anything wasn’t “the time and place”… you laughing wasn’t… I’m glad apologies were made. It’s so rude as a judge, you should be focused on the talent, not chitchatting in the side while someone is getting critiques. He had his own right to defend himself and I just don’t like the simple fact like they were that dude try to gaslight him.

I’m a Pastor and I ate with the Brother. I’ve had to address many Pastors and Leaders about holding private conversations and chatting while people are testifying or praising. We are not above God and when someone is sharing their testimony or praise. it is it responsibility to give that person the time to share what God has placed in his/her heart. We can’t be so biggity that we don’t respect someone else.
